Bus to DTD

I know that busses do not run from DTD directly to the parks, but do they run busses from the parks to DTD or do you have to catch a resort bus then the DTD bus?

The last time I did DTD we had to get a bus at a resort to get there. I think there may've also been one from the TTC, but I'm not for sure on that.

Nope you still have to get to a resort to get to DTD, I wish they would change it but i can see why this is in place.

Which resort is the fastest? If you're staying out at AKL, obviously you don't want to take a bus from MK, and then to DTD. Which resort is the quickest "halfway point"?

Honestly, differences in distance aren't going to cause that much of a difference (assuming you avoid the really far out resorts). I just take the first bus that goes to somewhere relatively close to either the park that I am in or DTD. That's faster than waiting up to 20 minutes for the bus to the one resort directly inbetween whatever park you are in and DTD.

They don't run direct buses b/c people would utilize the free parking at DTD and then take the bus to the parks to avoid parking costs.

If going to Magic Kingdom....take a bus to the Contemporary and walk or take a bus to either the Polynesian or Grand Floridian.

If going to Epcot or the Studios....take a bus to the Yacht and Beach Club and walk or take the boat to either park.

Actually, I think there is still the one-way only bus that takes you from MGM Studios to Downtown like one the weekends after 3:00 PM

I agree these would be the best way. But again this is why I always get a rental car. Just the flexability and we love to make last minute decisions and not have to think twice about transportation.
