Bus Question

I dont know if this has been asked and answered before but what the heck I will ask again.

Do the Buses go from the parks to other parks or do you have to go to another resort first? 1 day of our trip we will be hopping to all 4 parks just for the rollercoasters. My husband and I are brining our 2 toddler boys so 1 day we just want to do coasters by ourselves and get a sitter so we wanted to hop to all the parks and wanted to find the most easiest way to do so.

Thanks for any advice.

The Monorail will take you from MK to Epcot (you have to transfer monorails at the TTC) and there is a bus that runs from the TTC to AK and DHS. There is a bus that runs between DHS and AK. There are no buses between MK and Epcot, nor is there a bus from MK to AK or DHS, you must take a monorail to the TTC to catch the monorail to Epcot and a bus to AK or DHS. An alternate to get to AK or DHS from MK is to walk to the Contemporary Resort and catch the bus from there.

I had back surgery 15 years ago and I still get in trouble when I get wipped around on BTM and Everest, I ride them, but I pay a price. If I had just had recent surgery I don't know that I would even tempt fate by getting on one. It is always fun to watch others enjoy themselves, perhaps that is what you intend on doing, if that is the case ignore my paranoia about your back and enjoy!

Mystic was very thorough in explanation, but here's perhaps a slightly shorter, easier-to-remember version:

There are buses between all parks.
But if the Magic Kingdom is involved, you have to go through the TTC, where it's bus to/from AK and Studios, or monorail to/from Epcot.

The Epcot/Studios connection also gives you an additional option: The bus between the Studios and Epcot goes to the front of Epcot, but you can also take a boat (or walk) between the Studios and the International Gateway entrance in World Showcase.

I'd save the expense of the sitter and the wear and tear on the body this trip. You can always Fast Pass these coasters and do the child swap. This way you don't 'waste' so much a day. I know its not the same as getting to ride with your spouse, but soon enough the kids will be tall enough and old enough and you will have the joy of riding together as a family. In the meantime you can ride all the other rides together!

Thanks for all the great advice! I was told by my doc that I would have to wait 12 weeks from surgery before hitting rollercoasters. So I waited an addtl 2 months. I am thinking I wont be hitting all the coasters that I wanted to before.

But thanks for the advice on the busses thats a great help!:)
