Bugs Life Land closure

I have read rumors that they are going to close the Bugs Life land section in the California Adventure park to build a Marvel section. I've never been there and was wondering if those rides were any good, and if any thought was given to moving them to the Animal Kingdom. I would think they would be a perfect fit because the park lacks attractions especially lower tier attractions. Anyone know if this was even considered.

As someone who has ridden them I hope not! Just look up a video of the chew train!

Fliks Flyers is being rebranded as an IN and Out ride at Pixar Pier so it won't be going anywhere. Now the rest of the rides, although cheap, could serve a purpose in WDW but I'm guessing that won't be coming over. People complain because they are basic carnival rides that have been spruced up for Bugs Life but they are the perfect rides for the under 5 crowd. I remember when my nephew was 2 at WDW and 1 day decided to freak out if he went on any indoor rides. Hotel pool it is then, lol.

What is with people wanting bugs land in animal kingdom? It's dead, over, done. Now get over it!
Boy, what crawled up yours? I don't recall anyone saying they wanted Bugs Land to come to Animal Kingdom, more of our opinion on the imagineering of it. Don't like it? "Get over it."

I think it would've been nice if some of the rides had made it to WDW, personally. They aren't exactly design masterpieces, but they're a good fit for the park, plus DAK still really needs rides for the under 5 set, and really just more attractions overall. Maybe if Disney quickly added some off-the-shelf rides through A Bug's Land, they'd feel more comfortable removing the ones in Dino-Rama in the near future.

Well my problem is that it is an armchair imagineering idea that is well, not very well done. I can see the line of thinking, but it is not an idea I am for, and I'm uncertain if disney is for. Especially with such an old ip. But if this does happen, I don't expect the train to live.

The only reason there's so much Bug's Life stuff in the parks is that it was new when all the late 90's/turn of the millennium expansion was going on. It's not exactly a classic, super beloved film.
