Does anyone have experiences or reviews to share? I'm only staying there one day (we're going a day early now...).

We stayed at BVS

My family (2 adults, 2 teenage girls) stayed at BVS this past June for our WDW trip. You can tell it is not a new property, but having a suite for the price of a single room makes up for it. We did not use the (free) shuttle service, but we saw many people who did. The free breakfast buffet was pretty good (you get what you pay for). The only serious problem I had with the place was that it was not on-site.

The rooms were a little run down, I stayed there last year for 5 days when i couldn't get on property. It was $79 a night. There is a pizza place directly across the street open real late that is fantastic. The best wings and pizza I've had in a while its names something like gourmeto's.

Do you mean a little run-down for suites, or in general?

I think we're getting a MouseSavers rate of $89 for a 2-room suite...

P.S. Per recommendation, I think I'll try that pizza place. (Checked it out on Google Maps, and it is Gourmeto's. )

A little run down in general, it is an independently owned hotel-not a chain. The layout consists of a 1st room with a couch and TV and table and fridge, micro and i think a sink. It's maybe 150 sq feet. Then a door, the bathroom, and then it opens up into a room with 2 beds and a TV. When I stayed there my son was only a year old and My wife slept in the bedroom area with him in his pack-n-play and I slept in the 1st little room(I snore and we didn't want to wake up the baby)The pullout sleeper-sofa was comfortable enough but the room itself was a little old feeling. Some marks were on the walls, the tile in the bathroom showed pretty heavy wear etc. The lobby is nice and the place is clean. I avoid independent hotels because I feel they don't offer the same assurance of quality. Overall its a pretty nice place but I've stayed at the Wyndum Palace in DTD for $79 severall times and that place is a MUCH MUCH nicer-classier hotel. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do though. That was the 1st time I stayed on 535 instead of 192 and I really liked it.It is a much nicer area-it's also a VERY short ride to Disney property.

Thanks for the review. The only other times we've stayed off-property were at Holiday Inn SunSpree (no comment...), and Radisson Resort Parkway (completely amazing and luxurious... even better pool area than some Disney hotels. :D).
