Why release this information now??? I mean it just keeps people out of the theater if they see the movie will be released on video/DVD fairly quickly after the release in theaters. I mean Lizzie McGuire comes out like 3 months after going into theaters. Why go see it in the first place.......much less if it's on DVD soon???

Really? For me at least, there is nothing like going to see the movie in a theater, in a big screen, air condition, comfortable chairs, my popcorn and soda! Even though my den has a/c and a comfy couch, it´s not really the same, so I don´t care too much if the movie is in my closest Blockbuster unless I had not seen it in a theater first! :animwink:

But here's a good question, what the heck is Lion King 1/2?

I'm going to guess that it takes place between "The Lion King" and "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride", which would explain the odd numbering.

Just a guess....

It goes along the lines of "The Lion King story from the eyes of Timon & Pumbaa", and it deals with their "origins" too, which is weird, considering there was a cartoon in the TV series that dealt with that.

I guess those that doubted Dan about Lilo and Stitch coming out with a special edition was wrong or Jim Hill lies and everything there can't be taken as truth (like some do).

Amen, Maria, but anyway, I'm sure Disney didn't really intend on letting all this info out, im sure it was not supposed to come out all at once like this. Still, I'm thrilled to finally hear about Lilo and Stitch, I knew all this waiting to buy the special edition DVD would pay off.

And about Mickey's 3 Musketeers, does anybody happen to know anything at all about this project? I mean, is it going to be released theatrically, I really hope so, I'd love to see Mickey in some beautiful 2-D Walt Disney Feature Animation, not that television crap they use for the sequels like Neverland and Jungle book 2. Still, it doesn't look like it's on any WDFA upcoming lists, so it's probably a television animation project, but still even if it is, I'd love to see it in theaters, and Disney can find out that all of america still loves that mouse.
