I asked a group of employees yesterday standing outside of BTMRR if there was going to be a "single rider" line added in the refurb. They said no which disappointed me as it would be a good addition to the ride & make the line go by faster.

There is no need for a single rider line at BTM...when you can put three of the same party in a row and there is almost never an empty row there is absolutely no reason nor need for a single rider line.

Everywhere they have Single Rider lines the vehicles have individual seats and restraints.

Big Thunder has bench seats with a single lapbar for all riders. The ride's turns often push one rider sideways into the other. Thus, they do not place strangers in the same row, making a Single Rider line unnecessary.

If anything can benefit from a single rider line, it's space mt. I can't tell you how many times they've asked for parties of 3 or 2 or whatever. A single line would be heaven. They had one back in 2005ish I believe, wish they'd find a way to bring it back.

On my two previous trips the cast members assigning seats always asked for singles to fill empty seats. To that end I rarely saw trains leaving that did not have all six seats filled. While not having a dedicated single rider line the current standby queue is organized to accomplish the same thing pretty effectively.

I agree 100%. It's silly that on a ride that holds just 1 person per row that they don't have a single rider line.

I'm glad they don't have one for BTMRR. Not a ride I'd want to sit next to someone I didn't know. Everest is different, as you're in your own seat, but with Thunder, you're always sliding into the other person.

Aside from the points that have already been made about the single rider line....If you asked hourly cast members, I can pretty much promise that they know about as much about the refurb as we do. With that said, I wouldn't expect a single rider line to be added.

I've seen them send at least one empty seat on several occasions. They usually have an extra CM there who could regulate it. But on most occasions I've been a single rider and have been behind a family of 5 or 4 that throws of the line a bit, causing one or two empty seats. Kinda frustrating when you have 10 minutes left or so and want to sneak in one more ride.
