I have heard about this rumor for a while. I can't verify this rumor, but all I know is that in the commentary section of the DVD it talks about two "planned' atractions: a river raft ride and a salmon run atraction. The raft ride was "rumored" to take place in Canada in Epot, but this isn't going to happen.

How 'bout "no"? :drevil:
Nothin' happening round Epcot except Nemo, Three Cabs at Mexico, and (eventually) new stuff at SSE.

Well, someone or something is up in general there too though. Not sure if they finally got a clue - or someone just decided to care - but several of the ride descriptions on disneyworld.com changed and during that change over several links on the website came and went for a period. To me, it looked like someone was looking at getting more interest in some of the older attractions.

And well, maybe i'm cynical, but they never question/evaluate/change anything unless they're planning even larger changes later.

Don't forget the Canada 306 movie.

Is there anything new to happen with the Imagination pavillion that you have heard of?

I've always said that the mountains in Canada that house the Le Celier restaurant always looked like it should have a water ride there. I've heard this rumor too, but I don't know if it is going to become a reality. They might of planned to make a raft ride, but the plans may have fallen through, like many other Disney plans. I'm just guessing, but if it was really planned, Disney probably dropped the project because Brother Bear was released right around when tourism was really down after 9/11. So they didn't want to add anything new.

Soarin' or the events building built for the Millenium celebration, but that's primarily behind the UK.

Wasn't Brother Bear like the only movie ever made at our Disney-MGM Studios?

I believe Mulan and Lilo and Stitch were also fully made at the Studios. Most of the other movies, were partially made at the MGM theme park.

Let me go ahead and quell this rumor for you, at least on the Canada site of things. Below is a picture of the area behind Canada that everyone says is where this attraction would go. This is an older satellite image, as Soarin' isn't even built yet, but I've marked off the area where it now stands. As you can clearly see in the picture below, the space that this attraction would go in is microscopic and the only way they could do it is if they tore down the entire Events building (formerly the Millenium Village) which I don't see happening because it is used frequently. On that same token, I really don't think they'd want to put Disney into a showcase for a country (which is what all the WS pavillions are). The attraction would have to go somewhere else IF it were even to be built.
