Bringing Infant to Disneyland?

A basic cheap 60 dollar stroller that can easily fold up is best especially for the tram. You want to fold it up quick and sit anywhere on the tram. I hate having to wait for the SUV strollers to fold up and somehow get on the tram.
That's good to think about! Forgot about having to fold it for the tram.
The stroller should be cheap enough that you don't care if it goes missing. I had that happen to two strollers at Disneyland. They where cheap so we didn't care. We had one cheap stroller fall apart completely on our last day at WDW. We just threw it in the trash. Just put everything (formula, diapers, snacks, jammies) in a backpack. Travel lite. Don't leave anything in the stroller.
Very solid advice and sorry to hear that this happened to you. I know from the DL facebook groups that theft of strollers is more common than others think. Wonder if a bicycle lock is worthwhile? Or if those even exist for strollers.

I wouldn't be comfortable leaving stuff in a parked stroller either.
Ask the front cast member at a ride for child swap. They will tell you what to do. Basically one rides, then the other rides separately. Most things you won't need it.
Does everyone wait in the queue for this or just one party member?
There is a nursery with toddler size potties and extra diapers and supplies.
Good to know!
My daughter was always kicking her shoes off in the stroller. I would report them missing. Amazing Disneyland mailed the missing shoe back. This happen a number of times and I always got the shoe back.
So funny! Amazing they found them too.
All three kids loved it. The 4 month old seemed to enjoy it. Her big brother introduced her to Mickey. When they were older we would always do the character meet and greets. We have a large collection.
That's wonderful to hear they had a good time even at such a young age.
One time the oldest was coloring at Big Thunder Ranch and Pluto tried to get his attention since no one was around. He would have none of that and keep coloring. Pluto sat down and colored too. Those little moments is what makes Disneyland great.
Such a cute story!

I dont think its too soon as long as you go on a day that isnt too hot or too cold. I dont see any reason you cant have a pleasant 4-6 hour trip or longer. Obviously you ll be moving slow and wont do a ton of rides but i doubt thats a concern for you. Maybe get the baby on Small World. Go have a nice sit down meal when the baby is sleeping.
Great knowledge here! Thank you! I wonder if a Fantasyland dark ride would be too scary.
No problem! My wife would bring our kids there to feed or change them all the time when they were little.
👍🏻
We’ve never had our expensive stroller stolen or any souvenirs we store in it. Obviously hide the stuff best we can when we re away from the stroller.
That's really good. I've read many horror stories of people getting them stolen but of course it may just be a small chance that happens. There are also airtags to track them.

If it were me I’d rather bring the expensive stroller/ tank so your baby is insulated, comfortable and the noise is drowned out when he/she is sleeping. The tram is a pain with strollers so I recommended taking the walking path/ bridge from the Pixar Pals structure to the park. Those cheaper strollers are usually for bigger kids that can sit up right no? You re not really going to be leaving your stroller very often on this trip if you re not doing a bunch of rides with the baby. If you child switch certain rides one of you will be with the stroller.

You’ll want that locker on wheels for the baby bag etc.

I wouldn’t do the FL dark rides because of the loud startling noises on some of them. Maybe Pan? For sure not Toad. Storybookland, Casey Jr are good ones too. The DLRR if it’s open. Maybe just cover the babies ears for the lightning strike during the Grand Canyon scene.

I should I look into getting one of those air tags.

It depends. Like for Space Mountain I remember having going thru the queue separately while my wife waited at the exit/single rider line. When I came out, I gave her the pass and the CM let her in. Other rides had us both go thru the queue but she had to wait for me to complete my ride before she hopped on. This could be completely different now.

Air tags are a great idea for the strollers. It helps you and security find the stroller. You can file a theft report but nothing will usually come of it unless they find the stroller after closing. They will notify you if they find it just like the shoes.

Personally I just like to without a stroller and just carry them or make them walk. I always took one kid at a time. No need to change two stinky diapers. As @mickEblu would agree, it is exhausting taking little kids. Search out those coloring and quiet areas for snacks. We would ride the train up to three complete loops sometimes. I think our personal best was nine complete loops.

They changed the process. Now the second person to ride will also have to wait in the LL on Space. Most of the rides work this way. Space was the exception until recently. @CaptinEO also note that rider switch is only available on rides the baby doesn’t meet the boarding requirements. So for example something like Haunted Mansion where the baby can technically ride (but you may not want to take them on) I dont believe they’ll do child switch but I’ve also never tried it.

Yeah I think I’m going it buy one thanks. Now, where to hide the air tag on the stroller 🤔

You mean when they were a little older right? Not newborns. That would be pretty hardcore lol.
