Bring a toddler bed?

I was hoping that some of you may know the answer to this. I tried calling Disney but the wait to talk to someone was over 30 minutes so I thought I would ask here. I hope this question hasn't been asked a lot...I did do a search but haven't seen anything recent.

Anyway, does anyone know if Disney has a problem if we bring a toddler bed into our room? We were looking into Port Orleans Riverside. When I priced it out on their website, it shows that all five of us (2 adults, 3 kids ages 8, 6 & 3) are all able to be booked into one room. I wasn't specifically looking to book this resort, it was what came up for our party. Any help would be appreciated.

Riverside has trundle beds, so that they fit a family of 5. I believe that a trundle would be just like a toddler bed low to the floor.
The trundle beds are currently being replaced with a Murphy Style bed.

To the OP.... You can bring a toddler bed but you will not really need it. With a party of 5 you will be given a room with the Murphy bed and can request a pack n play if you want it as well.

Yep,Master Yoda, the murphy has replaced the trundle, but are they only in Alligator section?I know that PP and OM are the royal rooms, not sure, they look ok but unsure about having no safety sides incase the wee yin falls out of bed.

Correct. They are only in Alligator Bayou. If you book a room at PORS with a party of 5 you will be in the Alligator Bayou section. The Royal rooms max out at 4 people.

Thanks,I've friends going onsite for the first time in September, staying at PORS. They are three parties in total.Party one is two adults with two girls ages 9 and 6 and a boy of 2. Party two is his mum and dad,and party three is her mum and dad. They requested Oak Manor before the royal theme rooms were getting done,so I rekon they will all end up in AB.

Actually no. Children under age 3 do not count against the room occupancy so they could be put anywhere.

Pack n play is a portable crib like device- usually with mesh sides, thin mattress and lower to the ground. It can also be folded up... whereas a crib is solid. Pack n play's are great for traveling. If you do get the murphy bed but are still unsure about the lack of sides, check to see if they can bring you a bed rail. I know a couple years ago, we were able to get a bedrail for the daybed in our GF room.
