Breaking News...Fifth Gate

The Fifth Gate may actually be a very real theme park under development. While, I have no idea what its theme is, I stumbled on something by accident that looked similar to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Center during its early development phases. At first glance, I had no idea I was looking at Disney property. I thought I was looking at a non-Disney entertainment complex of some kind. Then, I noticed its radial wheel layout. My next thought was that it was too small to be the Magic Kingdom. I then zoomed in on it and saw that nothing had actually been built but some land preparation and line drawings outlining what I assume will be roads and buildings. This markings are VERY clearly visible. The spiked radial wheel layout with a central hub, huge parking area, and tram pathways are clearly distensible. The parking area looks similar to the parking area of DAK and EPCOT. Compare both side by side and you will see that many design features were duplicated, like the use of big medians to form islands of rectangles and triangles and an area exclusive for buses. The development is located on the western edge of the property, west of the planned Flamingo Crossing shopping area. Here's an image that shows it. I circled the area and labeled certain features. I left the rest as is so you can see it was not altered. I was going to outline everything but I decided not to so that it is clear that the images hasn't been tampered with. You will just have to focus more carefully to see all the features that I am clearly seeing.

Don't forget, by the way, that DAK was built in secret for something like four to eight years (I forget exactly how long it was) before it was officially announced to the public. My point is Disney has built WDW theme parks without public knowledge before.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I'm not an insider. I know less than a Disney bus driver . . . but I'm expecting our bonafide insiders to step forward very quickly and say . . . NOT HAPPENING, for the myriad of reasons which have already been discussed.

Looking in Google Earth that area has looked like that as far back as 1990 so it's nothing new. The area you have marked as parking is part of the horticultural services tree farm. You can clearly see the clean rows of trees in the earlier Google Earth pictures.

I might be wrong with the parking. It could be further west or southwest where the curve jets out, like the parking of the other parks.

Here is a picture from 1995 of the same area. If Disney were really building a fifth gate I don't think they would be able to keep it quite these days. We have people on these boards who work in the construction industry in Orlando, they would have gotten wind of something.

What else is it then? It makes perfect sense knowing that Comcast is spending BILLIONS on USO. They need a secret weapon. Here it is!

No idea but it's not a fifth gate. In this day and age where we get daily updates of everything going on at WDW, do you really think they could get away with building a fifth park without anyone catching on? I really can't see that happening.
