Breakfast with A Gorilla!!!

Good Morning...Excuse my title thread but I was reading todays food blog..Has anyone had a walk up breakfast at Rainforest in AK.??..Just wondering if it was possible first thing at rope drop..I see they serve Tonga Toast,,not the real McCoy but it looks good..So for anyone who has had a Gorilla breakfast at Rainforest,how did you rate it.?

When I say the title of the post I wondered when did you have breakfast with my DS; but I digress. No I haven't had breakfast at the Rain Forest Cafe, we actually have a Rain Forest Cafe in our local mall, everytime my DS and I ate there when he was little we were both underwhelmed by the food.

never had breakfast there, but I have had lunch and dinner and always did a walk up. Never had to wait that long to be seated.

We have done breakfast there, but only once. We are doing it again in October before the African Trek in AK. The food wasn't bad. It was a lot less crowded then lunch or dinner time.

Yes, we've had breakfast there a few times, always as a walk-up. It has never been very busy when we're there, but we tend to travel during slower seasons.

We did breakfast there last november we had ressies but there was no need. Our breakfast consisted of

Tonga Toast with bacon

Breakfast of bandits with scrambled eggs and bacon (apologies for blurry pic)

Both DD & DS had kids version of breakfast of bandits with scrambled egg and bacon.

Nice atmosphere as it wasn't that busy i was able to walk around and take photos. kids really loved it and would go back again

This is probably the only restaurant in WDW that I would not give the typical "make an ADR if you want to go there" advice. We have had breakfast there a number of times, never had an ADR and have never seen a crowd there. The breakfast is also pretty good. There is nothing all the unique or special about the place (eg pineapple macadamia nut pancakes at Kona), but it is a good solid sit down breakfast.
