Breakfast Opinions Needed

Wanting to try new places for breakfast. We have dined at:
Cinderella's Royal Table @ MK
Bomas @ AK
Whispering Canyon Cafe @ WL

We are thinking about:

Chef Mickey's @ The Contemporary
Ohanas @ the Poly

Any comments or suggestions about the two locations listed above. OR some place that I have missed. It will either be a party of 3 (me, my Dad & my teenager) OR a party of 9 (the original 3 plus another family w/ 4 kids).
b/t/w - we are staying at CBR.

Is the $$ worth it? Is the food good? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!! :sohappy:

I am not a big fan of Chef Mickey's but I LOVE 1900 Park Fare at the GF. I think they have the best food (along side with Boma's). The rice krispie treats are a treat. Plus it's the quietest/relaxing of the character breakfasts. O'Hana's is great if you bring kids but beware, depending on the other kids that happen to show up that day, you may want to start running for the door before the meal even gets to the table. It can get quite rowdy. It is more entertaining than the rest though.
Good luck and have fun :)

We are going to try the Trails End Buffet at Fort Wilderness on our next trip. I have read good reviews, but haven't experienced it yet.

Anyone else tried Trails End?

We stay at Fort Wilderness Cabins quite a bit and Trail's End is one of our regular places. I really like it for dinner, it's one of the best values at WDW and the service has always been excellent and the food is good too. It is mostly good old country comfort food, fried chicken and the likes. I really like the Chili.

It is also very good for breakfast, traditional breakfast foods, and since it is a buffet you really can walk away very full.

rick3236,

Thanks for the info on Trails End Buffet. I did a search, and didn't find too much. We will be staying at WL, so I think we will take a trip over to try it on our next trip.

Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club has a fun breakfast. Goofy and Minnie are dressed in old time bathing style outfits. Good general breakfast food and nice "Beach" style surroundings. Wouldn't go out of your way for it but if staying in the MGM/Epcot area, worth a stop.

I would definitely reccomend Chef Mickey's for Breakfast. You get to see all of the main Disney Characters: Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale :) Plus, the food is REALLY good and the have the "Celebration" every 30 minutes and it's just all around a lot of fun! It's my favorite Character Breakfast/Dinner on property!

As for Cape May Cafe at the Y&B Club, yes it is a nice breakfast, but they only have Goofy, Chip, Dale and the surprise guest. So, you're limited on the character interaction since there's only 3. Another thing I liked about Chef Mickey's was that most of the time you see the characters 2 or 3 times while you're eating!

My favorite before taking the boat to the MK is Trails End @ FW. It opens at 7:30 so do it on a day that MK opens @ 9am. Ask for Ken as your server. Be sure you get the first boat to MK. The boat ride back is realy nice also. On your PS for Chef Mickeys ask for a table by the 7 Seas window. Also ask again when you check in at podium. Great view

You won't go wrong with chief Mickeys, good food and fun. Check out the Crystal Palace in MK. We enjoy it there and if you get an early PS you get to walk around Main street before park opens and with NO ONE around!!!
