If you want a really good breakfast, take the monorail to the Poly and eat at Kona Cafe.
I would agree! I would also vote in favor of Norway...really cool character breakfast with the standard buffet. Why don't you try for an early breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and then walk over to the MK. It's a short walk and the breakfast buffet there is very good. As far as the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway if you have little girls it is a must. If not I would pass on it. The food is less than mediocre. I would rather go to the Cape May cafe at the beach club. They have a really good character buffet breakfast there and you can walk into Epcot via the International gateway between the France and Canada pavilions.

I second this. Absolutely love Kona after eating there last trip. The Samoan, and Tonga toast are fantastic.
If you are looking to get into MK before the park opens, CRT and CP are your only options. While neither restaurant really thrills us, we love that early morning walk down MSUSA with little to no people to deal with.
If you are just looking for breakfast on a MK morning, each of the resorts on the monorail loop have both regular sit down breakfasts as well as character meals to choose from, most of which are better than what the MK has to offer, IMO.
