Breakfast at Be Our Guest

Back to the OP question: Yes, while there are breakfast buses running, I would also recommend grabbing a Taxi or Uber. Taxies can be ordered right at the resort bell-hop stand and they are no more than 5 minutes away. Depending on where you are coming from, it shouldn't take much more than 10-15 minutes. I'd take it to the Contemporary and then walk over to the MK (under 5 minute walk). Uber is the same, but you just order it through the app.

yes, its a small charge (under $20) but you are working on your schedule and not the bus'. I have no idea how many stops the bus makes, or the frequency of their schedule.

The only good thing about Be Our Guest breakfast is if you have an early reservation you can get to ride the mine train without much of a line. Food is not that great!

My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast thought the food was great. Yes, the price is a ltitle steeper, but we factored in the value of getting to be in a less crowded park in the price. It was worth it to us, to have some yummy food in the BoG environment, then be in queue for Peter Pan with no wait. Seriously I was sort of sad that the line was moving so fast and I wanted to see the redone queue, that I let some people go ahead of me!!

We stayed at the Boardwalk, and while he front desk told us different, there were indeed buses running early and we had plenty of time...we were let in and had 45 minutes of time with which to explore MK and take photos, then get to our breakfast. All worth it to us.

So, OP, enjoy your breakfast regardless of the previous posts. We did.

Just be forewarned. Be Our Guest for breakfast is not all that great. Food is below average for Disney breakfasts only place with worse food is probably the Cinderella Castle for breakfast... In both of those you are paying for the atmosphere although at least in the castle you also get a photo.

On the upside if you go there early you will likely get to ride the minetrain without having to wait in a large line or using a fastpass, that was the best part of our breakfast at BOG, food was very disappointing though we had heard very good things about it.

I agree, my husband loved the breakfast but being vegetarian made it hard for me and my daughter. They want to go back this year but I'm not keen. I'd rather go to Sleepy Hollow any day but the restaurant is amazing and a must see.

We have the free dining and BOG counts as a quick service, so in all truth, we aren't losing anything. I know I really enjoyed the lunch there the last time we were at WDW. Thanks for the heads up though.

We've eaten there several times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (I vaca with various family members so at some point they've all wanted to try it so I've been more than once) and honestly we've found both the food quality and service hit or miss regardless of the time of day. Just get to your bus stop early to leave some travel wiggle room. The last time we had an early morning adr for be our guest the ferry boat was closed and the monorail started having problems. There were about 20 people trying to get to MK from the TTC so they quickly found a bus to throw us on to get us where we needed to go.

I actually snagged an ADR for BOG for 8:20 when the park hours listed on Disney's website indicate the park doesn't open until 9. What time should I hit my resort bus stop? I'm staying at AoA. Or should I take the advice others have given and take a taxi/Uber to the park?

Buses will start running at approx 6:30. I'd plan on being at the bus stop no later than 7-7:15 as the early morning ones seems to run closer to a 30 min schedule than 20 mins. Then if you aren't on a bus by 7:45, call a cab.

We had an 8:00 reservation and they actually didn't let us into the park until 7:55 (they were doing maintenance on Main Street and needed to get equipment out of the way). I think we made it to BOG closer to 9:05, and we were still fine, so I wouldn't worry too much about time as long as you try your best to make it there and aren't hours late or something crazy.

Just curious: it took you one hour and ten minutes to get from the gate to BOG?

Sorry, didn't even see that typo. We got there at 8:05. I can't even imagine what kind of situation would need to happen for us to take over and hour to get from gate to restaurant before anything else had even opened haha

Well, it could be you were taking pictures along the way without having crowds in the way. A lot of pictures.
