Breakfast as QS

What do you mean by "Breakfast DDP"? Do you mean you bought the regular DDP that includes 1 QS, 1 CS, and 2 snacks per day? If so, then yes you can eat at the Pop food court and use a QS meal there if you want. We always found it was more cost-effective, though, to pay out of pocket for breakfast, use our QS meal for lunch, and use our CS meal at dinner. However, you can switch it up any way you prefer, and you can use extra credits one day and fewer another.

I'm not sure but I think UK visitors had a promotional offer that included a free breakfast each day, and that many people have been able to use it for a QS lunch or dinner, not just breakfast. I'm only basing it on what others have written, the mileage (kilometage?) of any UK visitor may vary. However, one different WDW forum had a response from WDW Customer Service that specified that the visitors receive breakfast vouchers that must be used by midnight of the day they check out, and that they can be used for lunch or dinner. I don't know if this would translate into using it for 3 snack credits like you would with a left over QS credit on a dining plan. However, if you can use the voucher for lunch or dinner, I'd suggest to the OP to use them for lunch and dinner, and with the saved money, buy your snacks. http://www.disneytouristblog.com/dining-plan-counter-service-best-values/
Cheers guys, yes that’s exactly it. I’ve read a complete mix of possibilities. At value resorts uk customers get a breakfast QS meal every day but others have said it’s was basically 1 QS meal that was used for lunch or dinner. Just wondered if anyone had used this recently for lunch?
We go in Oct 19 and I've been trying to find out the same, I know it was just any meal credit in 2017 but don't know anyone who's been this year...trying to decide if we should upgrade to QS if it is just breakfast, have you had any luck finding out?
