Does anyone know if Disney still do the filled bread cones at the Hollywood Hill Theatre by Fantasmic. I am going on holiday in the summer and really want the macaroni one but have heard rumors that they no longer do them.

Since I hate to see a post go unanswered, I looked up the Hollywood Hill Theater menu on www.allears.net and there is a listing for Macaroni and Cheese Bread Cone and Fiesta Chili Cheese Bread Cone. I am not familiar with the place or the food but that is what I found. You can find the menus for all Disney restaurants and the above link for All Ears. Have a Magical Trip! :cat:

I would love if people could look out for them and report here. I would would love to have one but don't always make it to Fantasmic.

I wanted to try one of those so badly last year, but it poured every time we tried to see Fantasmic. We sat eating churros under our ponchos for 45 minutes before they cancelled the show all 3 nights we tried. I don't think those cones would have fared too well under a poncho, so I didn't even look for them.

In case anyone wants to try makig them at home... (and if you don't have time to make dough from scratch, I'll betcha you can use the same technique with a tube of storebought Pillsbury breadstick dough...

Oh man! I might try that.

Love the recipe! I think you could use the premade dough, like you mentioned. Would make it a lot easier, although it might not taste quite as good. I'm sure it works but I'm a little worried about putting the card stock in the oven.

It is really no different than using parchment paper, bamboo skewers, etc. Just make sure what you are using does not have any wax on it that can melt.
