I thought you had to be 65 and kind of a geek to get into branson.
No not really. That sort of thinking goes along the lines of Floridas reputation as being only for the Newly Wed or Nearly Dead.

No, but if you think that Yakhov is the only entertainer there, you are sorely uneducated about the area.
I know enough through numerous family visits to the area that the people who live there need good paying jobs other than working for every washed up has been.
The washed up has beens don't support the entire community. I have friends who built a new home there a year and a half ago. They have three small children, she is a stay at home mom and her husband does not work in the entertainment business. He has to travel a lot and frequently flies out of Springfield. I think Branson gets a bad rap from those who haven't been or who haven't been in the past 10 yrs or more. This place has changed quite a bit. Its not just for blue hairs in Grand Marquis or RV's anymore.

Now that was funny, but reputations are based in fact.
Florida has the oldest mean age of any state.
Old people move to St Petersburg, and their parents live in Ft Meyers.
So, if I am reading this correctly, there are actually people that live in and around Branson that are not on some combination of life support and/or government support? Amazing.....:ROFLOL:
