It has been enquired as to why there have been no day trip pictures for a little while; the main reason is my not getting around to editing and upload pics. So I’ve made a start:
A few weeks ago the GF, Bramble and I headed to Castle Coch and the surrounding woods.
Castle Coch is a small Welsh castle (Coch being Welsh for “Red”). It was built in the 1870s on the site of a 13th Century castle, so whilst it’s not a “genuine” castle it is on historic ground.
Note, the tower on the right is only wonky as I had to paste two shots together to make this photo. Most other irregularities in the photos are due to this.
