I've used almost all these with my students... you can buy books called "lateral thinking puzzles" that are full of these....

I use them to get their critical thinking juices flowing. Then we practice closed ended vs. open-ended questions (the answer can only be yes or no--it's amazing how great they are at open ended questions after this exercise!).
