Bounceback Offer Question

I just recently returned from a trip to the most magical place on Earth. Yay!! We booked the bounceback offer at Animal Kingdom Lodge for December and now I want to change my room from the standard view to the Savannah view. Has anyone else called and changed their bounceback offer reservation? Will we still get the 30% discount on the Savannah view room if we change? Thanks in advance!

once you have the reservation booked you should be able to change it. at least that what i was told when i booked mine last sept for this year

I booked bounceback offer for August way back in December for Beach Club. I just called today and switched it to Yacht Club, same bounceback rate.


Call and ask them to do it, just make sure you explicitly say that you want to keep the bounceback rate, just switch Resorts.

Standard modification policies apply to these bookings. You may modify your room based on the availability of the discounted rooms at the time of your call.

If you are on a vacation package, a $50 change fee may apply if the change is made within 44 days of arrival and the change results in a lower total package price. This fee is waived if the total package price is increased or remains the same. Any change made to a vacation package within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a $10 special handling fee, as this fee covers sending new documents to your Resort hotel.

If you are on a room only reservations no change fees apply regardless of when the change is made.

When they offer a bounceback, do they specify the dates you can take, or is it any time? I'm sure there must be blackout dates?

The bounce back offer is very similar to most other discount marketing offers. You must book your stay to return within a specific travel window, and there are only a limited number of rooms available for each date during the offer period. Once these room sell out, they are gone.

The real difference is to be eligible you must be staying at a Disney Resort when an offer is released, and you must book the offer with a deposit prior to checking out of your Disney Resort hotel.

Does the Swan or Dolphin have a bounce back offer?

Remember, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are managed by Starwood Hotels and Suites and are neither owned nor operated by Disney.

A Disney Resort Hotel discount marketing offer cannot be applied to a non-Disney Resort. Currently there are no Swan/Dolphin discount offers book by The Disney Reservation Center, but you may wish to contact the hotels directly to see if they offer any discount you may quailify for.
