Bounce back question about resort choices

Hi all,
Quick Bounce Back question.

We are staying at a Moderate Resort this trip. But we usually stay at Deluxe Resorts. I understand there are bounce back offers in the Deluxe Resorts for 35% off all of 2013 with some black out dates.

There will most likely be a bounce back offer at our resort but what if I wanted to bounce back from a moderate to a deluxe. Is this allowed? Will I get the Deluxe Resort bounce back offer?

Also, can it be used at Disneyland? Or just bouncing back to Disney World?

I can only address your first question. We have "bounced back" to a Deluxe while staying at a Moderate but it has always been for the "Free Dining." I would think WDW would much rather book you into a Deluxe than a Moderate. Even if you don't find a bounce back offer in your room, make sure you phone reservations while you are still checked in and let them know you want to take advantage of the current bounce back offer.

You should have no trouble if there's a current offer that applies while you're there. Call the number from your room [or at least know your room number if you call from elsewhere]. They'll confirm you're a current guest and you can ask if they have a bounceback at whichever Deluxe you want for the dates you want. If there's nothing available at that resort, they'll offer another.

i believe it is allowed to bounce to a resort in a higher category as long as their is availability with the offer. Unfortunately, its only for wdw, not disneyland.

This is great information. I had no idea that Disney did this (what rock have I been under). I'd like to plan another trip for 2013 with my granddaughter so this would be awesome.

Never have done a bounce back before, but hoping to do one when we go in September!
