Summer was harder than usual too. June was booked way earlier than usual. Just a point to add
Good to know. Not really sure how long to expect this refurb to take? But it makes sense to do it in the summer so who knows.

I'd expect quite a few months. I think PVB refresh was done in 3 or 4 months. VGF seems to be on that level too. Full refurbs take longer though.Good to know. Not really sure how long to expect this refurb to take? But it makes sense to do it in the summer so who knows.
When they did SSR they could just take a whole building out of rotation and do it. With BRV I would assume they won't shut the whole thing down and do it room by room.I'd expect quite a few months. They took multiple buildings usually. A section at a time. BRV I imagine will be done by sections and or floors much like other smaller refurbs are done. When they did SSR they could just take a whole building out of rotation and do it. No.Anyone heard any updates? I have searched around and can't find a thing.
December 2022 and January 2023 are almost entirely booked when you look for availability. Like... suspiciously "almost entirely."No.
The bad news for BRV owners is that they just announced that the Boardwalk is getting redone. If they follow the same pattern as recently, Poly, GF, then they may well do BWV at the same time as BWI.
Meaning that BRV could be pushed out even further.
Man, that is not very fair at all, and yes somehow they will get Poly's new building up ASAP.No.

Boardwalk, Boulder Ridge, and the Poly have nothing to do with one another.Man, that is not very fair at all, and yes somehow they will get Poly's new building up ASAP.
You maybe right. Just seems it keeps getting bumped down the line...Boardwalk, Boulder Ridge, and the Poly have nothing to do with one another.
The problem with DVC refurbs is that it's very difficult to delay them a little bit. Pretend you wanted to do a refurb in January 2021 but your materials weren't going to be available until May 2021. At that point, it's too late, because DVC members have been booking up May 2021 rooms for the last 11 months. Essentially what happens is that any delay pretty much becomes an 11 month setback, because they can't take all of that inventory offline once it's already been booked up.
How could they not have anything to do with each other?Boardwalk, Boulder Ridge, and the Poly have nothing to do with one another.
That is not correct. So BRV was definitely bumped by the Poly refurb.
The Poly refurb was brought forward a year. And they moved some people with reservations to do so.That is not correct.
