Both parks - one day?

I went to both parks on a friday in july
even arriving at 10:30, we were able to cover all the major things at IOA, lunch at city walk around 3 and all big things at Universal by 7:30 and back to IOA for re-rides until closing

Thanks for the tip. I made reservations at Cyrstal Palace at the Magic Kingdom on the forth. If the park close's that day, would i be able to get into the park due to having reservations?

Not to contradict JROK, but you may want to call Guest Svcs to confirm the answer. In fact, call a number of times, as different CMs might sadly give you different answers. If they close the gates, I'd have to guess it's because they can't fit anyone else in the parks, and then you'd have to rely on the generous nature of security or park management to let you in. Which they'd possibly do, but if you don't want to chance it, either make ADRs for a non-park resturant, OR make sure you're in MK when it opens.
