I booked a Disney trip thru Expedia in 2011 and I'm positive that they had the option to add dining. iI'm at work now playing around on the site and don't see the option to add it. Has anyone booked recently thru them and been able to add it thru the site?? TIA;)

I'm not a big fan of third party travel sites as I work in a hotel and I know what people go through if there is an issue, read there fine print and policies, jot down who you spoke to. They do not like changes of any kind however you can get some good deals just absolutely know what you are getting if you book with them.

I would never book a Disney trip through anyone but a good travel agent unless you are going to manage everything on your own. A good Disney travel agent manages and watches your reservation for discounts. They apply the discounts and tell you how much you saved instead of you having to watch for them. I can PM the travel agency we use. They are not a site sponsor here though. AAA, Expedia, and others just collect your money. They do not look to save you money.

Thanks for the advice...I have multiple booked trips thru both Expedia and AAA...and thankfully never had any issues. I guess I never really thought about what could go wrong if the booking isn't thru Disneyn and yes, that would be a nightmare. AAA called me twice before our Sept 2013 trip with free dining info and then again for a free luggage promo.

Also if you are using a third party you may not be able to get the Disney reservation number easily, if at all, which you need for the My Disney Experience site to connect in your reservation. Kingdom Konsultant Travel always gives that number to our clients to enable them to start the process on the My Disney Experience app. Marie
