Booking rooms together or separate?

Does Disney give any discounts for booking more then one room on a single reservation or doesn't matter? We are planning to go down in Sept with our inlaws and we are wanting two rooms, but did not know if there was any savings making one reservation.

Thanks

Nope, no group discount unless your group is huuuuuge! We're talking, along the lines of 20 rooms, or something insane like that.

Do your chances of getting connected rooms go up if you book under the same reservation?

I just don't want to book separate and then have someone say, "Well if you book both rooms under on reservation you would be able to..."

Thanks for any input...

I can tell you that you can always request adjoining rooms and Disney will do their best to comply. I would tell you to book the two seperate reservations, but then have them linked as one party. Belle

Listen to Belle, she knows what she is talking about :)

We are traveling with my parents in August, and went to book the two rooms together - it ended up being MORE then if we booked them seperately. We then (following advice on here) called and had the two reservations linked into a "party" so that we have a "pretty good" chance of getting adjoining (or at least adjacent) rooms.

 Anytime that I have had to book adjoining rooms, I have always booked them at the same time and the price was no more than if I had booked them separately. You do have to put down a double deposit:lol: . Or 2 nights lodging. I have only done this at the All Star Resorts, so I can not answer for the other hotels.:sohappy:

I just made a reservation for 2 rooms at the Yacht Club. Booking together you are garenteed <sp> adjoining rooms. If you book seperately, you can make the request and they will try to honor it. The room rate is the same whichever way you book it. Hope this helps:)
