Booking over a year in advance

It should be. I booked our Dec 2010 trip in Sept 2009 and my 45 day mark was in Oct 2010.

I just booked more than a year out and the payment due date is the same. Ours is June for an early August trip if I am remembering correctly.

I did this same thing for our upcoming trip. I booked last July/August when the vacation packages became available for this year, we will be going in November.
Just like everyone has said you'll still get the same 45 day mark. Although booking this far out will make paying for the trip easier, the wait is a nightmare. We're still not into double digit days yet. Good luck.

The balance of a package is due 45 days out no matter how far out you book it. The balance for a room only reservation is due upon arrival no matter when you book it.

That actually works out cause the plan is Oct 4th of 2013 and as of right now that's 444 days away.

Like the other posters have said, you just need to pay 45 days out, no matter when you book. Good idea in booking out early so everyone can get their part together.
I'm thinking of booking next September in Disneyland to do the same.

You'll have to pay the 200.00 deposit and the balance due NLT 45 days out

Yeah, I know about the 200 deposit from the last time I booked through Disney in 2010, which was the first time I booked on my own for Disney.

I like booking early and paying off early.
Last 2 years I've booked typical free dining periods and when free dining comes out I use the refunded amount to book my next years vacation.
As an example last August I had a $1400. credit which I booked this years package. I was able to have our November 12 trip paid off in May of this year.
When this years free dining was released a few week's back I had a + $2200. credit which I used to book November 2013...It's really nice to have substantial credit due back on the release of a free dining offer.
