Booking hotels for Star Wars lands

I booked a DVC Boardwalk studio with my points for Dec 13-21. I booked based on the hope that SWGE will be open and Episode IX releases 12/20/19.

I would guess it will be up by then...if it’s not, then they can’t make an opening before 1/2/2020...

I'm hoping Disney extends it's deal with the Disney Springs hotels for 2020 specially for the demand due to SWGE

I’m there in August (Anaheim)...but not for Star Wars specifically...just worked out that way.

I’m hoping to like it - just not expecting it. I’ve not seen too many good decisions in Disney’s ownership of Star Wars...hopefully this isn’t one of those

I wouldn't want to even try getting into SWL unless I got a FP+ that'll get me into the Land ahead of the long queue. That means I'm hoping the date is set and FP+ is active the full 60 days before I go the first week of December. Otherwise, it'll be February for me.
