YAYAYAYAY!! After much discussion this morning, my long time boyfriend and I decided it was just so sad that we haven't been to see the mouse in almost 1 year (spoiled i know). So November 14-19 here we come! Going to book the free dining plan on Thursday when we both get paid and staying at ASM resort and upgrading to the regular dining plan. SO EXCITED!!! Neither of us have been there in November (that we were old enough to remember).. so my question is.. how crowded are we looking at? And.. does anyone know when the Osborne lights festival starts?? If that is showing when we are there.. i might actually cry of happiness! Thanks for the help everyone!! AHH SO EXCITED!!

Have a look at easyWDW for crowd predictions but rest assured the parks will be very manageable.

I think Osborne Lights start on the 12th? Might be wrong on that one, I'm not sure.

Most of all congrats on booking your trip, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Enjoy it! :joyfull:

Edited: oh, we can't mention that website? Sorry. Have a look at free touring plans sites. Just do a google search.

We went Nov 15-22 last year...and the crowds were quite low on the early side of our trip. Of course, Thanksgiving was early last year and late this year...so you should have decent crowd levels for your stay. Osborne Lights starts up on the 8th (at least that's what most sites are saying), so you should be good with seeing that too. Easy WDW also offers a free crowd projection and I find them to be a bit more reliable.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
You will love it!! Very low crowds as compared to the busy times of the year. Not much rain and cooler temps. Might still be warm of course but not sweltering like in the summer months. Usually at night you may need long sleeves or a jacket. Osborne lights I believe will be starting right before you get there. Also consider going to MVMCP at Magic Kingdom. You will both really enjoy this time of year!!! It is our fave time to go anywhere from late Oct- December. We will be there 12/5-12/15 and can't wait either!! :)

Awesome! Thanks guys! Also, we are pricing some things out and with the free dining and staying at ASM its around $1,500 with the upgrade to the regular DDP. Now if we stay at Coronado Springs and get the DDP for free, it's $1,800. Do we spend the extra money and stay at the Moderate (with our own bus) or suck it up and stay at the value and have to share a bus with the other all stars??

If you must use the busses I would choose CS. We always drive and use our own car b/c we don't like the hassle of relying on the busses. Much quicker and easier and also free if staying on property. If its only $300 more for the moderate I would go for that one. Will be quieter at the resort and less crowded/less waits on busses. :)
