Booking a new trip with an annual pass

I just came back from a weekend trip where I upgraded my park hopper to the an annual pass, yay! I'm planning on taking a long trip in May with my husband. To book the trip, would I just book the room and then add one park hopper for him separately? I was playing around on the site this morning and booking a package the way I used to do required me to book park hoppers for both of us, which I obviously no longer need. First time booking anything with the annual pass, so I want to make sure I don't mess anything up!

Book a room only and purchase the extra ticket separately.

You can get the ticket either online, through a third party reseller or when you get to the resort or park.

Though it would be best to buy the ticket 60+ days out for FP purposes. We’ve always been very happy with Undercover Tourist for ticket purchases.
