DH had enough Jet Blue points to get us 2 free tickets for our flight down. So for 4 tickets BOS to MCO we paid $220!!! He's been joking with me all morning that we only have flights down so I guess we are never coming home, that's fine by me….8/22 cannot get here fast enough

Good for you!

We cashed in our TrueBlue points, too. 2 of the 4 of us are flying for "free" when we head down in May. (Still not as good a deal as yours -- we paid $300 each for the other two roundtrip tickets from Syracuse to Orlando, about $150 each way.)

this thread reminded me to get on jetblue and check my points. i was pleased to find that they have family pooling now - you can have two adults 21+ and up to like five 'kids' 13-21 on the family pool and have a percentage from 10-100% of their points put in the family pool. this is excellent because my hubby and i both have jetblue american express cards but one of us is always just shy of a free flight. so now we can just pool them all together and book away!

we aren't going until october, and i think they've only opened until september 2 at this point. but we definitely have enough points to get us one way for nothing more than that $2.50 fee each :D

We always fly American (my wife used to travel a lot and has a bunch of perks). This year, we checked the flights the day they were released for our upcoming WDW trip. Found the tickets for $324 each for an early morning (not red eye) flight out and evening flight back. We decided to wait a little bit and the next day, the tickets we wanted went up $50 each, except the early morning red eye. So we went ahead and bought the red eye tickets. Good thing we did, as the prices for all time slots went up $110 (so our preferred time went up $160 since we first checked)! The prices usually jump after tickets are purchased, but usually come down a day or two later. However, several weeks later and the prices are $110 higher. Glad we bought when we did, but we have noticed that airfare in general is going up.
