Bonus Fast Passes......

The other year Mrs M's annual pass stopped working in the fp machine at the TOT, the machine culdn't read it. Anyhow after she went to guest relations to have her AP checked (it had worked fine getting in the park) she was told it had been magnetically affected. Turns out the magnetic fastener on her bag had done the damage without her knowing.

On the plus side she was given 4 fp's for any ride along with a new AP . The down side was that it also gave her a reason to buy herself a new bag, and when I say 'herself' that actually meant me buying it

I was getting FPs for my group at Space Mountain and we ended up with 4 extra. it was for after the fireworks as well!!! There was a woman and 3 children wanting to get on with 160min standy by wait so we gave the extras to them.

That's cool you got a Winnie the Pooh one! I missed out on it last trip since the line was always really long (40-50+ minutes) and it just wasn't worth it. Usually when I get a surprise FP it's for a ride that doesn't need it Philarmagic or COP.

A few week's ago we got Dumbo bonus fastpasses when we were getting fastpasses for the Main Street Mickey meet & greet. The CM standing near the fast pass machines was telling people about the bonus Dumbo fastpass, so I am assuming a lot of people got them. The line for that was longer than the Mickey line, so this worked out really well.

We got Buzz ones with our Jungle Cruise ones this past fall.

While we were getting FP's for some ride over in Fantasyland, we got 3 Dumbo FP's! I was happy about that.
We had others, but the park gave us them.

See, last year, on the first day we got on Pirates of the Caribbean. And just as it was about to start, IT BROKE DOWN. And so, we were stuck there for 3 quarters of an hour, getting more aggravated by the minutes because they wouldn't let us get off.
Everyone was getting impatient by now. The man and his family behind us was getting deeply annoyed..and so, after about a minute, he climbed out of the boat, followed by his family. We did the same, and they said, "You can't do that! SECURITY!". Stupid people, they said maintenance was coming after the first ten minutes, and they never showed up! And so, we complained at City Hall, and they gave us free FP's for ANY ride in MK. we used them on the last day for PP.

And then there's TSMM. If you want a FP for that, you have to get there when DHS opens and power walk to it. Otherwise you'll be stuck with FP's for 4-5:00 PM and not be able to Fastpass anything else!

Last trip we got "bonus fast passes" for Living with the Land when we got our FP's for Soarin.
