Bonnet Creek reviews? (non-Disney resort on Disney property)

I have visited people at the Wyndham and thought it was a nice property, but I generally avoid them because of the hard sell on the time shares. The Hilton and Waldorf at Bonnet Creek are both great, and I have stayed at both of them in the past. I would second the suggestion to make sure you're driving if staying at any of the properties, but I prefer to drive anyway. It seems that the non-disney resorts nearby are growing in popularity and amenities (thinking the good neighbor properties here) at the same time many of the disney resorts are declining in amenities, service, and food quality. Funny thing, Disney will still sell out all of their rooms most of the time.

Three years ago you maybe had to drive but with the advent of Uber and Lyft, it's not nearly necessary.

Thanks for the info.

I see there is a lazy river there, not the size of Typhoon Lagoon of course, but just by guess alone maybe one that takes 2-3 minutes to float around? Plus the Pirate ship with the waterslide. How many pools are there? You said 7 hot tubs, which my wife would love. We could probably get our accommodations paid for there if my parents came with us and used their points through Wyndham (they are getting older but even if they don't travel as much they give a week here and there to my sister or I).

You get your points the same way we do :) My father is 88 and doesn't travel 5 months of the year like he used to. They have 4 pools, a kiddie pool, and a pool with a swim up bar. The hot tubs at by every building. There are 8 buildings, so maybe 8 hot tubs. They also 2 bars, 2 QS style grills and 2 TS restaurants.
