Hey all,
I just got back from visiting WDW and I noticed something interesting: A sign for Bonnet Creek Resort!!! The enttance was located just up the road from Caribbean Beach. When we drove by it was a hotel that was owned by Fairfield, not Disney and it looked like there is room for many other hotels like it. It looked like a nice hotel, but no theming (looked like the resorts near PI). Now maybe you have talked about this before on another thread and since I'm new to the site, maybe one of you can steer me in the right direction. I just wanted to know why Disney would let an outside hotel company build right on Disney property (esp. one so close to EPCOT and Studios)? Is that even Disney property? Do guests that stay there get the same ammentities that guests who stay on Disney owned hotels (Poly, Contemp, etc)? And what do guests get who stay at the "outside" hotels near PI? I just have so many questions on this and hope someone has some info. I know my history and know Swan & Dolphin are not technically Disney resorts and why they are not, but that I understand, Fairlfield at Disney I do not!!!
:brick:
. If anybody has some insight to Bonnet Creek Resort it would be much appriciated!!!
