Bonnet Creek Hotels

I'm staying at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort next week on my visit to WDW. I was just wondering if anyone had stayed there since its so close to epcot and downtown disney.

I have nevered stayed at the resort. However, I have toured the resort & have friends who stay there.

Are you going to have your own transportation?? I hear that the resort's transportation leaves something to be desired.

Yeah we are driving down and are planning to drive to all the parks anyway. I'd rather stay on property, but my dad will only stay in condo resorts when we go to Disney (which is annoying...I'm not going to Disney to stay in the room!)

The rooms there are really, really nice. First rate.
The pool also looks pretty cool.
There is a small mini-golf & playground but they didn't look that special.
The on-site dining also just appeared ok.
But the rooms are really, really, nice.

We're also staying at the Bonnet Creek Resort for our January 2010 trip. Anybody else have comments or have stayed there?

This is our first time "off site", so I am extremely nervous about it. What were the pros and cons of this particular resort?

Excellent location, Spacious suites, Great pool area, Decent food on site, So-So service.

I heard the transportation was horrible, so it's a good thing you are driving down.
