Boma Vs. T-Rex for an adult couple.

Boba for definite, I can't bare the noise levels in T Rex, or the wait for the food - which is pretty much standard fare you can get anywhere. Whereas Boma is a buffet you can pick and try whatever you want. I am not a huge fan of the Mexican/African etc foods but I have to say I love everything at Boma and there is some beautifully cooked meats that are carved for you. It's way better on price for definite and a much nicer experience over all. That being said I would always request a table near to the windows at the edge instead of the centre of the restaurant.

I don't think T-Rex has enough theme to make up for the pricing and selection, but that's subjective. One thing I will say is that Rainforest and T-Rex both have some solid hamburgers, which can be a plus after a week or more of WDW dining. The Kobe burger at Yak & Yeti is still my #1, and Beaches and Cream comes in at #2 on property. After that, the Landry's locations can compete with or beat any burger on property. I'd choose Boma and variety over a burger 9 times out of 10.

Boma is our favorite dinner buffet on property! The selection is very unique, but that being said, there is a lot to choose from that even not-so-adventurous eaters should be able to find things they like there...and begin to like new things! :hungry: Here are some pictures...

And yes...the atmosphere is quality...!

Excellent use of 1 DDP TS credit, and yes, if you're ordering a dessert 'for 2' at T-Rex, it will cost both of your dessert choices. I'd only go to T-Rex if the theme is a must-do for you, otherwise, I heard the food is very similar to that of Rainforest...a fun place, but you're there for the atmosphere, not the food.

Enjoy whatever you choose!
AWESOME Pics! I love their soups!!
Definitely BOMA over TREX anyday unless you just love to eat in loud mayhem....

The soups were the highlight! Usually hate getting full on soups but it was totally worth it this time. :)
I know!! I'm not really a big fan of African fare, although I do love Indian cuisine, but I always find plenty on this buffet that is delicious, and the soups are out of this world.
