I don't know about breakfast but go for dinner! It's amazing and much more unique! You can find most of their breakfast menu at any other restaurant. I rarely eat breakfast.

I agree, try the dinner. They have a huge buffet and three rotating menus so you could get something different each time. While the foods were a bit more exotic, nothing was "weird" except the names; once you find out what is in a dish you have probably had it before, but with different herbs and spices.
I have a picky family and they all found something to eat and none of us left hungry. :slurp:

Breakfast is really good - one of the best buffets on property. Dinner is OK, but there are plenty of better choices (including Jiko right across the way).

I've tried both many times, and my vote is for breakfast. It's such a relaxing place to dine, and fills you up before a day in the parks. You won't need lunch after eating here. I love the made to order omelettes, the oatmeal, the fresh fruit, yogurt & granola, and the wide selection of breads & pastries including scones & corn bread. Great coffee & jungle juice too! Ask for Chaidan for your server. He'll take great care of you.

I have done both, and while they have all of the same desserts at both breakfast and dinner, the dinner is much more ecletic (sp?). Breakfast was delicious, but there were only a few dishes you can't have anywhere else. The dinner a ton of different foods not found elsewhere on property. And I think, since most people tend to eat bigger dinners than breakfasts, you get more for your money at dinner.

But I doubt you will be disapointed at either! We did dinner, and turned around the next morning and went back for breakfast, and we were 10 pounds heavier and with very happy bellies. mmmm.

I would suggest hidden option number 3......Go for breakfast and dinner.:D

You really can not go wrong either way but dinner will have a little more eclectic menu so it beats out breakfast but just barely.

I have ressies for dinner in Oct. I will give you my opinion when I get back. From what I have read I think dinner would be my choice.

Is Boma basically standard American breakfast fare? That might help your decision. In my case, I wish I could say I had a bold appetite and try the spicier and more exotic dinner option, but I can't. And with Donald's Breakfastosaurus no longer being offered by the time my trip arrives, I am in need of a breakfast option on the AK area.

How early is Boma open for breakfast?

You must listen and learn from Yoda

We've had dinner and breakfast there on separate trips - next time? We're having both!

A bit of advice if you do it back to back (dinner than breakfast the next morning), allow yourself some time to relax after that second meal. Luckily, we were switching resorts after that second meal, and hung out and didn't do the parks that day. I spent a good chunck of that day lounging around at the pool.

We had the same trouble with a breakfast option with Breakfastasaurus closing, but they are turning Tusker House into a character breakfast called "Donald's safari Breakfast" so we are going to try that. Hope this helps and I think that we decided on breakfast. We're not going till December 15-23 but I will fill everyone in when we get back!
