BOG without Fastpass+?

Hey all!

So I'll be visiting the world 3/6-3/10 and I was wondering if it was necessary to use FP+ to eat at BOG for lunch now? I visited March 2013 and was able to get a table during lunch twice during the week I was there with only a half hour of waiting during the busiest spring break week but that was before they had Fastpass+ for it. So I was wondering if could I just try my luck at waiting in a line for a table during lunch or is it necessary for me to have a Fastpass+ to get in during lunch now?

I think the FP+ thing is to not wait 20-30 minutes in line, but plenty of people still get in line.

I think you should be fine. When I was there earlier this week, the line to get into BOG during lunch was not too bad, and I overheard a CM estimate the wait time at no more than 20 min.. As you're probably aware, the thing that takes the longest and holds up the line: deciding what to order!

We ate BOG lunch 12/27 w/o any FP+. Yeah we waited in line. Yeah it was long but okay. We got to look around (7DMT), review the menu (a CM handed out printouts of the menu in line), and plan our afternoon. It was totally fun. Food was fine for a lunch, if somewhat overpriced. Overall, we were on vacation and felt the experience was worth it, even if the food was just alright. You should be fine and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We walked around to view each room. We were seated in the main ballroom by the snowy window.
