BOG Order Ahead

When I go to reserve my food I get the following message below. I am concerned about the split of the checks. It's 2 people and we are each using 1 QS point for this. Should this be a problem?
Thanks

"With a reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant, you have the option to order breakfast or lunch in advance and pay when you arrive―the food will be delivered right to the table of your choice. Please note that we are unable to split checks for orders placed online.
Make your selections, changes or cancel any time before you check in for your reservation. Or if you prefer, place your order at one of the restaurant’s kiosks when you arrive.
Canceling your order will not affect the restaurant reservation."

Are you both on the same dining plan/reservation? If you are then it doesn't matter because the credits are technically all piled onto the reservation and not actually split per person by band.

As long as you are both on the plan, you should have no problem. If you are seperate, (either paying for yourselves or on seperate dining plans) you and your guest will each have to make a seperate order for yourselves.

With that said, not sure if it has been an issue still, but we have done bog twice now for qs, and once the order disappeared and we had to reorder there, the other time it worked fine.

Not sure why you feel the need to order ahead of time. If you order your food when you arrive it takes all of 30 seconds and then the food arrives it is luke warm at best... I would be afraid if I ordered it ahead of time it would be cold and moldy by the time I arrived to get it. From a standpoint of the food and quality of it, they should rename it "Be Our Rube".

Ordering ahead eliminates waiting in the order line, which depending on time of day can add 20 minutes or so to your dining time. Those who order ahead skip this line and go directly to a register to pay (and make any changes to the order). The food order is THEN sent to the kitchen, same as if you had ordered from a kiosk.

By the way, there are many of us who enjoy the food at BOG for lunch.

Haven't had them for lunch I can only speak for breakfast and dinner, and in neither of those meals was anyone impressed with their food. I suppose it is possible that lunch is an exception for them... but am more inclined to simply suspect that we have different expectations for the food. Given the relatively high price for food at BOG compared to other quick service places I tend to expect that their quick service meals should be very good. Same goes for the full service dinner.... it is on the high side and needs to reflect that in the quality - which it doesn't.

One of the reasons for the higher prices at lunch (as compared to other quick serve) is that the food is brought to your table (rather than carrying your food on a tray to a table yourself) and is served on china plates with stainless steel flatware (no paper or plastic). You also do not have to clean up after you are finished, as CMs do that.

The braised pork has always been consistently flavorful and excellent as is the roast beef sandwich. And lunch is the only time you can get the yummy Master's cupcake (which is NOT the same as the hard, dry brownie served at dinner.)

I was there last Friday, October 16th, for lunch. I had ordered ahead. We were immediately taken inside though we arrived 20 minutes early for our ADR.(1315 original; arrived at 1255) We went to register, paid, and found a table in a different dining room than we had previously eaten last December. Our food arrived within 5 minutes and was delicious. Our soup was hot as it should be. The entire lunch was delicious, flowed smoothly. No chaos experienced as last December. (yes, I had ordered ahead last December) It's a new process implemented now for ordering ahead. So glad we gave it a second chance. We tried BOG again because aside from the chaos last December of the line...the food was delicious last December too.
