BOG Clarification

In booking our reservations for an upcoming trip, I see that BOG is two credits for dinner and one for other meals. We were planning to do a reservation for lunch, which I assume is one TS credit because of the reserved seating. However, the Disney site lists that the QS plan is also accepted here. Can anyone clarify for me which type of credit we will be charged for a lunch reservation? I just want to make sure that I am planning our other means accordingly. Thanks in advance!

Also, almost uniquely, although breakfast and lunch are QS, it takes reservations. And they are required, the chances of walking up and getting a table are slim to say the least.

And there is no reserved seating. You can pre-order, which saves a lot of time, meaning you line up in a shorter queue, pay at the till after confirming your order and find a table in one of the three rooms. And your food is brought to you, drinks are self-serve (and refillable).

At dinner you will be shown to a table.

I don’t think it is considered signature even though it is 2 credits. At least that’s what I have read here.

Correct. Disney announced the new menu as “enhanced dining” instead of signature. Under the dining search for fine/signature dining on Disney’s website, BOG is not listed.

Comment and response from Disney Parks Blog below. This is a clever way of saying “no”:

If you are on the fence about dinner or lunch... go for lunch unless you are just a die hard meet and greet person that wants to meet beast. The food at lunch and dinner are equally mediocre so you don't want to spend 2 credits on it if that is what they are charging now. BOG is really one of those go there for the atmosphere places that doesn't have the best food you'll be able to find in Disney.... and by all means avoid the breakfast it rivals Cinderellas castle for being the worst in the park.

The dinner is now a Prix Fixe 3 course meal.

If you were on the Deluxe DDP, BOG (and every other TS dinner) have always essentially been a Pre Fixe 3 course meal. The difference for those on the DDP now at BOG is that there is less to choose from (this was likely meant to streamline kitchen operations) and dinner now takes 2 credits.
