My dh is in big, big trouble. My ADR day was back in the beginning of February. so one night late last week my dh decides he wants to go to BOG for dinner and asks "Can you get us a reservation for there about 6pm" ok so after I stopped laughing at him I snagged an 8:30 and have since gotten an 8pm. I'm going to keep trying to get something earlier but............If I can't get something earlier do you think we'll have enough time to eat and make it outside for Wishes? THNX

I think with a 10pm you could do it. Get there around 7:45, hopefully get seated at 8pm, then 1.5 hours to eat, and 30 mins to get to Main Street.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Do note even during a "slower" time at WDW we often waited for BOG dinner about 45 min to be seated. We had an 8:50pm reservation this last time and got seated at about 9:30-9:40pm and had arrived on time but they usually run behind at BOG. Then once seated it takes us 1.5+ hours.
Maybe keep trying for an earlier time so you won't be rushed if they don't seat you right away which at BOG is very possible. We had already seen Wishes that trip before that night so I was not worried about getting out for that so for us it was no big deal. :)

THNX where in Fantasyland do you suggest?
Stand on the bridge to BOG if you can. There will be fireworks in front of you (Cindy's castle) and behind you. If you don't want to keep turning your head back and forth, stand by the teacups looking into Fantasyland (Pooh will be on your left). The fireworks will be super close and you won't be stuck in a mob of people.

Even if you have to wait 45 minutes to be seated (as @sxeensweet has) you will still have 1 hour and 15 minutes to eat dinner. In our experience, BOG has always taken less than 45-50 minutes to dine.

We had lunch @ BOG on Christmas Day (we couldn't get a dinner reservation) and we got seated right on time, however, maybe it's crazier at dinner time?? I do like the concept of a quick service where they brought you the food instead of standing in line, then trying to find a seat!!

Yes lunch we always get in right away if we pre order but dinner we always waited quite a while to be seated.
Also our dinners usually take us even at BOG once seated at least 1.5 hours+ esp with waiting to take a pic with the Beast on the way out. But you may be able to finish quicker because everyone is different.
We like to enjoy sitting down for a while and the whole experience in the evenings at our TS reservations. Me and the hubby have never finished a meal in less than 1.5 hours for our TS meals. :)

I have to say my whole family enjoyed their lunch there. Maybe next time, we'll be able to get dinner.

Yes you should definately try it! We always did lunch as its a must do each trip for us, and then finally got to try dinner and now we can't imagine not eating there for dinner each trip as well. We put it up there with a lot of the signature restaurants we enjoy on property. My hubby is very picky on getting a great steak and really enjoys the steak at BOG for it being a non signature restaurant, when he usually gets most of his steaks at signatures at WDW. :)
