Well, for one, it was an honorific to a former CEO, not a current one with an indeterminate end date.How is this any different than naming a building after Eisner?

I don’t have an issue with this either, I’ve gone from an Iger fan (pre-2016) to an Iger disliker but he’s been CEO for a couple decades and his early work as CEO still set up the company for a lot of future success, ironically they just need him (and his team) replaced with people who will properly use Pixar, Star Wars, Fox, Marvel, and the Disney brand to their full potential.How is this any different than naming a building after Eisner?

It’s funny how Igers downturn has mirrored Eisners, I loved Eisners early years and then he got progressively worse as he overstayed (imho) his CEO tenure, Iger did the exact same thing, his early years were great, the last several years have been horrible.
I suspect the next CEO is going to spend their first half decade as CEO undoing Igers mistakes, just like Iger spent his first half decade undoing Eisners mistakes.

He doesn't have an indeterminate end date, end of December 2026 (likely before so the new CEO can take over as part of a transition) is his end date, just because you don't believe it'll happen by that date doesn't mean there isn't one.

Eisner did not name a building after himself…because we have these things called “calendars” we can look at and place dates to make conclusions
