Now, what about ferries? Where can you catch those?

For instance, after Spirit Of Aloha at the Polynesian, can we take the ferry that crosses the lagoon to MK to view Wishes? Or do we have to be staying at that resort in order to use the ferry?

Where else is there ferry transportation?

You may use any transportation available at any of the resorts during your stay.
At the Poly, there is a boat launch between the marina and the pool area (mostly attached to the marina) that can take you to MK.

(Poly is walking distance to TTC)
Grand Floridian: MK *Also has Monorail to MK and TTC
Fort Wilderness: MK

Swan & Dolphin: Epcot & MGM
Boardwalk: Epcot & MGM
Yacht Club & Beach club: Epcot & MgM (Launch for both hotels is at Yacht Club)

** Wishes can be viewed from the beach at the Polynesian. Shortly after the fireworks show, the is an Electrical Water parade that passes the beaches of the Polynesian. It is very pretty and my be worth staying on the beach
