yes but what it does do...
yes you can take the boat from MGM to Epcot WORLD SHOWCASE.. you dock right by England and France.. (with the fake pole as an Eiffel tower).. but now you are at the World Showcase and don't have to walk through the rest of Epcot to get there..
this boat ride worked well for us, due to the fact that we needed to buy a gift in England.. for my daughter.. , a tea pot, that wasn't available any where else in the parks.. I would have bet a million dollars that I could have bought it in down town Disney, but I could not.. this ride really came in handy since my wife rides a scooter.. its a fine fine boat ride..

If you walk from the Studios, don't turn left to the boat dock when you leave the park, walk towards the buses around the edge of the lake. There is a signpost towards the walking route, although it is quite clear which way to head!
