Boat from POR FQ to DTD... exactly where does that boat unload at DTD?

Good morning all,
Sorry I had to start a thread for such a simple question, but I searched and couldn't really find what I was looking for.

My wife (7 months pregnant) and I, along with our 3 year old are staying at French Quarter later this month and are considering making a dining reservation somewhere at Downtown Disney on a Friday night.

We'll utilize the boat from FQ to DTD, but can someone tell me exactly where that boat will drop us off at DTD? Does it first stop at Cirque and then continue over to the new docks by Rainforest? Or does it now skip the Cirque dock and go all the way over to the Rainforest dock? Not sure with all the changes / construction / new walkway over the lake etc....

Logistically we need to eat close to where the boat will be dropping off. I don't want to tell my pregnant wife and 3 year old that we have to walk rather quickly from Cirque side to Rainforest side (or vice versa) to make our reservation time!

Any thoughts are very much appreciated! Thanks everyone!

During our trip last summer, the docks by the Rainforest Cafe were closed. (That area was under construction for the walkway being built for SSR). The boats only parked by the West Side. But on the ride back, the CM stated over the speaker that both docks should be available by November (2014). Since we haven't stayed at FQ since, I'm not 100% certain but that's the info I have.

The Port Orleans resort boats only stop at Marketplace, on the new dock between marketplace bus stop and Saratoga Springs, you get to the dock by walking up between the Christmas shop and the scrapbook shop and then going round behind the stores and rainforest cafe. If you then want a boat to Westside you need to get on the DTD boat from the marketplace boat.

It's near Saratoga Springs. When you get off, one of the first shops you'll see is the Design-a-tee (for custom t-shirts).

Haha...good luck with that...you would be hard pressed to beat the boat on foot (is there even a path?) much less have enough hutspah to do anything once you got there.
