boat from MK to WL

It usually stops about an hour or so after the MK closes and yep it runs during EMH (unless they have changed policy, which does happen). One word of advice, don't miss the last boat! :(

The boat runs until 45 minutes after the MK closes (including EMH, parties etc). There is also a direct bus from the MK to the WL.

does anyone know when that boat stops running? does it run during the extended hrs.?

Also, you get VERY close to the water when the boat is full. I thought we were going to sink! I like taking the boat in the morning, and then riding the bus back at night. Just my two cents.

 I knew you would give us the "official" answer. About an hour is around 45 minutes, right?

And that bus tends to get crowded the later it gets.

I have an additional related question or two. How long does it take to get From MK to FW by boat? How much time should I allow when planning on leaving from the MK for dinner at Trails End? If the PS is at 7pm what time should I be on the dock waiting for the boat? Thanks for your help.

it takes about 10 minutes (maybe less). The problem you really don't know how long you will have to wait for the boat. If you've just missed it it will be a good 20 minutes or so. We always give ourselves an hour to an hour and a half. If you get there very early wander around, there is a lot to see. The one thing you don't want to do is to have to rush, especially if you aren't sure where you are going.

Agreed, I always give myself at least an hour when coming from anywhere going to anywhere. You just never know.

We had an experience once where a guest had rammed their car into the gate arm at the entrance to our resort. I guess the bus driver didn't know this because we pulled up behind this and then other cars pulled up behind us. So we were wedged and sitting there. We had 7:00 tickets to Cirque, back when the bus still stopped at West Side. We missed the 1st 15 minutes of the show, Cirque gave our seats away, but then made the guests they had given the seats to move when we explained the situation... it was quite the disaster. Yes, I've seen the *whole* show since then.

They made the other guests move?? "Sorry... I know we said that you could see the show, but we're going to need to take your tickets away now."

Oh well... at least you were able to see most of the show, and then the rest later on.

Yeah, that sucks for those guests, but this situation wasn't one we could have anticipated. I mean, I could see if we had just decided to stroll in at whatever time, but it wasn't like that and I would have been really ed if I had just been out the money for the tickets (which they initially said they couldn't refund to us).

Can I ask another boat question while we're talking boats?

One night I'd like to leave MGM Studios and take the boat to the Beach Club to eat dinner. Then I'd like to walk around the boardwalk until 8:30 or so. The problem is we will need to get back to the MGM Studios parking lot to get our van, but MGM Studios closes at 8:00. So will there still be boats running from the Boardwalk to MGM after MGM closes, or will we have to walk?
