Boardwalk VS Beach Club

Now from an honest point of view since the clown at the Luna Park pool was brought up, I personally the one thing that makes it better compared to Stormalong Bay is this. The pool slide at SAB is located along the walkway that everyone else uses to Epcot and to walk around all of Crescent Lake. So you need to physically leave SAB when wanting to go down the slide and I think it's very inconvenient. Plus I happen to think SAB is to big and confusing. I can see why some might find that to be a good thing, however I can't see it.

I think the clown adds a great theme to the Luna Park pool.

Besides what's so creepy about this?

No...nothing creepy about it at all...

Creepy pool's aside, we prefer BCV and if I had to go down the checklist of pros and cons it would pretty much be a draw for us since we think:
The rooms in each are comparable
The location of each is comparable
The awesome restaurants near each is comparable
The pool, IMO, is far more enjoyable at BCV

On paper they both are very like but we just had a better experience/feeling at BCV than we did at BWV.

Thanks for all the great advice! Looks like we are staying at the Boardwalk since there were no 1 bedroom villas available (have to pay cash, have run out of DVC points for 2015 & 2016 - time to buy more, lol) at the Beach Club. Was more concerned about proximity to EPCOT and noise factor since we will be running in the Star Wars 10K next year and the race starts at 5:30 AM (yes, that is AM!) at EPCOT. And I wanted to get a decent night's sleep the night before.

Virtually the same location so that's not a factor. YC and BC have better restaurants and the pool is the best out of all the resorts. BC is our favorite. We just stayed at Boardwalk last year and liked it too.
