my wife & i stayed at YC last year & we took a walk over there. i guess u can get a reservation at 1 of the restaurants there & explore the bar they have. there’s some shopping options, & u can always explore yacht & beach club, as well as swan & dolphin. enjoy your trip 👍

Love BW for its proximity to Epcot, HS, and also any dining around Crescent Lake. The point chart is a steal for the location. To maximize it I'd say just enjoy the location and explore dining at the various walkable resorts, as well as walking to Epcot and HS which can't be beat.

The Trattoria is pretty good. Two food we really liked were the olives appetizer (just some olives, but good), and the personal pizza.

It can be a hike to the main pool from your room, and main pool is deeper than most WDW pools. It is a bit too deep for small kids to stand on the bottom. The quiet pool was really nice last time we went there, but that was some years back.

The new room decor is nice.

Walk to both Epcot and DHS, don't take the boats.

Don't go to Boardwalk Pizza at all.

Take advantage of being near the Dolphin and Swan (even Yacht and Beach) if you want some better options for QS, Breakfast, or TS.

Go to Jelly Rolls.

If you're staying at the DVC side, request a room close to the ONLY guest elevator bank in the building, otherwise you're going to be walking A LOT.

If you're driving and self-parking, you do not have to leave through the front entrance and walk a mile to get from your room to your car. Find the nearest stairwell exterior exit and it will make getting to and from your room so much easier.

The rooms let a lot of outside noise in from the hallway, if you're sensitive to this and placed near a high traffic hallway, politely ask for a new room.

Bellevue Lounge and Abracabar are great and open late (midnight and 11 respectively).

Don't go to Boardwalk Pizza at all. (Repeated for emphasis)

I've not eaten there...I've always heard awesome things about it from reading here!
