Hi!
I will be staying at the Boardwalk Inn in June and traveling with an elderly adult (83 years old). Does anyone have suggestions on a good room. I booked a room with a standard view. She will need something near an elevator and easy access to the main lobby. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would let them know that you need a handicapped accessible room (even though that may not be TECHNICALLY accurate, my feeling is that anyone who has lived more than 8 decades deserves a break!) Then, about 5 days before your arrival date, call the hotel directly and ask for the room controller in the front office. This is when the room assignments are actually being made. Ask for an easily accessible room. The first time we stayed, our room was wonderful; the second time, it was a hike to get anywhere, and (unless we wanted to go way out of our way) we had to climb stairs to get to the lobby.
