Boardwalk Garden Rooms

I'm going to have to go back in Oct to figure out why I was so confused thinking I took 2 elevators. Lol. I miss staying at The Boardwalk in the Garden Suite but now that we joined DVC we have been using points and would have to stay on the Villa side. We will probably do a cash stay in the Suites again in the future because I fell in love with our cottage and the Club Lounge of course. :)
During my first BWI stay in August 2010 we were syaying in a Deluxe Club Level Room and happened to get a tour of one of their Garden Suites, because my family and I reserved it for our trip in December 2010, long before WDW changed the occupancy limit for it that they allow only two guests. Anyway after seeing it we didn't think it was for us along with just getting to the Club Level lounge, so we switched that reservation to a Standard Club Level Room.

It only took us like 5 min at the longest to get to the lounge so not bad at all. The only downside we had was getting luggage up the stairs to the loft area with the bed and master bath. Lol We had the one with the open loft up top. There is 3 out of them that don't have a loft or private garden and it is just a closed off second floor where your bed and full bathroom are. We prefer the one we had with the private garden entrance and loft. Most do have the private garden. I think there is 12 set up like ours and then the 3 without the private entrance and different inside layout. And it's so cute all the private gardens are different. We had the big heart shape bushes with the roses in the middle. :)

While 5 minutes is also the time I takes me when walking from the Club Level lounge or my room itself when going to the Garden Suite area, we also like to take back drinks and food from the lounge. So if we needed to constantly to do that it would become annoying. For example after we check-in we get some drinks from the lounge to put in our fridge and only have a few feet to walk in a Standard Club Level Room, instead of going outside to the Garden Suites.

Yes in that case I agree. We never took much back to the room as we stopped by before going to the parks usually. By the time we always got back they are closed for the evening. Oh and another plus for us personally I like having an extra bath or half bath even though it's just me and DH and you get that in the Garden Suites as well as the kitchenette area next to the half bath. So I guess there is pluses and minuses to the suites compared to a room on club level itself. :)

Outside of our cottage during the day. Can see the heart shape flower garden(every cottage suite has a unique designed garden if it is one with the private entrance, 12 like this and they have 3 without private gardens)
