Boardwalk DVC VILLAS

Hey everybody. Working out some details for an upcoming trip. My family and I have stayed at both Kidani Village Animal Kingdom Lodge and Old Key West. Is the Boardwalk DVC Villas more of a hotel style like Kidani or more like condo style like Old Key west with multiple seperate units?

Hey everybody. Working out some details for an upcoming trip. My family and I have stayed at both Kidani Village Animal Kingdom Lodge and Old Key West. Is the Boardwalk DVC Villas more of a hotel style like Kidani or more like condo style like Old Key west with multiple seperate units?

After you enter the lobby of BW, there are two wings, One wing is the traditional hotel, and the other contains the DVC villas. On the outside of the Villa side is the smaller pool ostensibly for DVC members only, as well as their clubhouse. DVC members can access anything else in the resort, just like Kidani guests can access anything in Jambo. So it's more laid out like a hotel than a condo complex

Thanks for the info on boardwalk. I called Dvc this morning and they were not able to get me into Boardwalk but they could get me into Animal Kingdom Jambo house villa. So I now have another question. Since using the laundry is free for dvc members. How will that work since Ill be in a studio without its own washer and dryer? At other dvc properties its not a problem since anybody staying at that property can use the laundry room at no charge.
